Love these, Sarah, and love what you’ve been up to on the rest of the blog. Hope you’re well! Taking film only. daring i say. I 2nd Scott #1 Reason why we love our Sweet Sarah: I was just on your lovely blog, Scott and am just so in love with all your new work! Really breathtaking. I’ve been shooting film for all my personal work. Hoping to offer some for family stuff soon. xo Ummm, please shoot more film. Sincerely, your friend Scott Andrew. ![]() It’s amazing how exciting it can be to pick up film from the lab. Today I picked up some film from our trip to Palm Springs and it felt like Christmas morning. If you’ve only ever known digital photography you should give film a try every now and again just to experience how different the entire process it. Not only do you slow down while shooting but the anticipation of having to wait to see your images makes it all the more special. It reminds me of the feeling I had when I first fell in love with the magic of emulsion. Enjoy one image of the little bear I found at the Ace Hotel. More images to come soon… by Sarah 4 comments Hi Shelly, I did process my own images but the color stuff wasn’t totally old-school with chemicals, etc. I forget the name of the monster machine we had but it was totally great to print late at night and wait for warm images to roll out of the machine.
