I’m finally back to work after a bit of a break. Our dog is doing much better (thanks to all who asked) and I’m fresh off the heels of attending and speaking at Alt Summit in Salt Lake City. I had a lovely time connecting with some of my favorite people. I wish I had seen some snow in Salt Lake City but there’s always next year.

I also wanted to let you know that our website is officially down until the new site launches – we wanted to give the new site a fresh start. Please contact me via the blog or email until the site goes back up. You can keep in touch on facebook or twitter as well.

We’ve been busy doing lots of holiday shoots, some fun lifestyle shoots, and I’m producing a gigantic ranch shoot this Sunday in Healdsburg. I can hardly wait! Oh and did I mention we’ve got a fun event coming up with Heath Ceramics in Sausalito and Los Angeles – don’t miss this!

Also, we brought back mini-sessions for a limited time only. I’ll be posting a few more details but essentially these are 30 minutes sessions, perfect for holiday cards and gifts and we’re doing both on-location (Golden Gate Park and Crissy Field) as well as in-studio at a really great price! After a million other errands I finally ended up back at the studio processing files. I opened my Europe folder and got a tinge of sadness missing my European travel companions. My mom, sister, and niece Elsa all live on the East Coast in Pennsylvania. I wish they were much, much closer. I adored our girls trip to Europe and would encourage you to leave the men at home sometimes and travel with the ladies in your family. It was such an incredible trip and I hope we do it again.

Do you travel with family often? I hope to blog a little more about that trip one day soon…waiting for a rainy day.

p.s. Just stumbled upon these Tibetan style wrap jackets on Tom Boy Kids. I love these and wish they made them in my size.

Last Summer Joe and I were walking through Hayes Valley, one of our favorite SF neighborhoods. We encountered a woman sitting at a little desk, selling her artwork. I bought a few tiny original drawings from her. She told me she collaborates on every piece through the name Scuba Art Collective. I just loved those tiny drawings and thought about their work several times over the last few months but had forgotten their name.

Serendipitously, a few weeks ago I saw that Propeller was selling more of Scuba’s work. I was so delighted. I thought I’d share their whimsical and endearing imagery with you. I think children in particular would love this work. They are selling all over the place now. I should have bought more less Summer, darn. Go check out their site,  here. Hi there! I am Regan and this is my first post as a guest blogger. Hats off to Sarah for allowing me to share my ideas with you all! Some tidbits: I am an interior designer, fashionista, wife, mother of  twins, and lover of all things design. I will be sharing with you my love for design, and my new recent love of all things mini. Amelia + Everett, my 13 month old mini inspirations, have me looking at life in a different light. I truly understand that decorating around families with kids is very different than decorating for those without; however, you can still have a nicely decorated home that doesn’t look like a play-zone! I hope to inspire you with ideas for your home, products that you and your minis can’t live without, and how-tos for those DIYers.
