Tag Archives: portraits This weekend I was reminded how much I like simple, straight portraits. No fancy angles, clever props or juxtapositions, just pure, simple, straight portraits. I should say it helps to have a subject who is incredibly natural in front of the camera. Allison and her husband Keith were just that. I rarely had to ask them to do anything and shooting in the comfort of their gorgeously lit home made it even easier.

I agree. So simple and pure. Just beautiful, your pictures and the mom-to-be.  We had so much fun on Sunday hanging out at the 1st Annual Heath Ceramics Fall Bazaar. Thanks to all of the wonderful families and kids who participated as well as some existing Modern Kids clients who showed up. It was great to see all of you! Thank you, thank you, thank you! – for the awesome pictures and for being so nice and welcoming!  Hello and a quick thanks to all of the fun families and kids who participated in yesterday’s shoot at Heath Ceramics. We had so much fun meeting so many new families and especially the super-cute kids!
