Thanks for your patience. In the meantime enjoy a sneak-peek from yesterday’s shoot. I can’t wait to share a weekend shoot in Santa Barbara with a ridiculously gorgeous mom-to-be. I’m headed off to the beach for a shoot with three five year old boys and a vintage bus! Stay tuned…  I have the wonderful opportunity of traveling to Chicago to shoot a few times per year. If it’s a wintertime shoot I am usually a little obsessed with the weather the week before I arrive as anyone who has lived there will tell you winter weather can be unpredictable. On my last trip in late November we lucked out with an unseasonably warm weekend. I have a bunch of shoots to share from that trip that I will intersperse with Bay area shoots over the next few weeks. I’ll be posting more frequently so please stay tuned.

just got this from the mom. i especially love my job when i know my clients are happy: Sarah, THANK YOU! we have had many compliments on the pictures. It goes without saying that Arabel warmed up to you so quickly because you are such a kind, approachable person. You have such a good rapport with children and a talented eye for taking unique, memorable photos. Please let us know when you plan on coming back… we have many interested friends.

So cute! Love the ones with the net and the window!  If you’ve been following me on twitter, you’ll remember that I was super excited to be photographing the Great-granddaughter of the Gerber baby. I was so thrilled to finally meet little Cora Margarita on Labor Day. Cora and her family were so much fun during our walk on top of Bernal Hill and so incredibly helpful. Grandma took a few photos of me in action with the help of at least four assistants (1. baby talker 2. baby spotter 3. first assistant with light reflector 4. baby’s personal assistant). I will hopefully be sharing the full post soon including some shots of us in action.  Remember little Esme? I photographed her a few days after she was born (look up to my blog header, she’s in black and white and is adorable). She’s already six months old! I can hardly believe it. She’s as beautiful as ever.  One of my Year in the Life sessions this year is baby Lucian. I had the pleasure of meeting him when he was just over a week old . He’s grown so much! This was our second session of the year and the third will be coming up soon. |
