Wow. It’s been a much busier season than I would have ever expected. I’m so grateful for all of the business this year and most importantly getting to spend time with so many amazing kids and famillies. This weekend I was reminded how much I like simple, straight portraits. No fancy angles, clever props or juxtapositions, just pure, simple, straight portraits. I should say it helps to have a subject who is incredibly natural in front of the camera. Allison and her husband Keith were just that. I rarely had to ask them to do anything and shooting in the comfort of their gorgeously lit home made it even easier.
