Love the calendar ideas. We’ve already started a calendar for grandma. A perfect gift. I LOVE Minted.com too. Their return address labels are to die for, along with all their card designs. :]  I’m finally climbing back on top of my to-do list. What a busy year! Now that I’m feeling back on top of things I thought I’d share this fitting image of Sloan & Caroline photographed recently on top of their playhouse. I heart GOAT-MILK. Thanks for sharing. I wish they made adult clothing. :] I’d buy an outfit for all 4 of us!  I downloading for this past weekend’s shoot at the deYoung and thought I’d share. Not only did I have a really lovely and stylish family to photograph but we had my favorite San Francisco weather; not too cold with a bright but slightly overcast sky. Perfect.  I hope you had a lovely holiday weekend wherever you may be. I’m prepping today for a commercial shoot with another excellent kids company. In the meantime enjoy a recent portrait session in Chicago, IL with baby Ned. This little guy was such a great subject. His parents are lovely people and fed me some delicious chocolate croissants and coffee. Their home is amazing and incredibly unique. I hope to share more soon. by Sarah 5 comments

Thanks Anna and Silvana. This family was especially sweet – well I feel incredibly lucky to photograph so many sweet families – anyways, you can’t see much of their home here but I’ll share soon. Oh Sarah, these are just gorgeous! I especially love the moment with Mama grinning at the camera–her smile describes such joy and pride. And Dad’s specs are great, too! What a beautiful house, indeed. I am so sorry to have missed you when you were here. I will need to remedy this! Best to you this week!  Hello there. I’ve been on the road for a little over a week (apologies if you’re waiting to hear from me). I’ve had a little family time mixed with a few really special shoots. One in particular was baby Whistler in Chicago. Whistler’s parents are dear friends of mine (and the husband) and we have been so happy to welcome him to the world. Thanks, Edyta! The luggage was already in Lezlie’s living room. They’ve had those great suitcases for years. I love finding existing props rather than sourcing them for family shoots in particular.
