A few times a year I have the absolute pleasure of photographing a wedding. I do weddings by referral only so I typically know the bride + groom or quite often it’s a fellow photographer.

For me, this past summer has been the unofficial Summer of Love. Three very important couples in my life were married. I was extremely grateful to be there and photograph all of them side-by-side with my amazing mother (more on her soon).

Tears are springing out of my eyes! So, so sweet and touching. You are incredibly lucky to have such a big, warm and loving family (and lucky to have me as your best friend!). And your family is also lucky to have you (and your beautiful Momma) to capture all of these wonderful moments. Can’t thank you guys enough for all the time and energy you spent our wedding weekend taking photos and spending time with my (small and crazy – but very love-able) family. I love you buddy!

Please let me first start by saying that you, your mother, and your family are the most amazing, selfless, loving family I believe I’ve ever met. That being said, it leads me to what I want to say next, and most near to my heart, with regards to how lucky I am to be included in your family. I sit here in tears already just thinking of what I want to say and my heart fills with love, joy, and overwhelming gratitude. Your family has embraced me lovingly and has made me feel at home from day one. I can’t tell you what life was like prior to all of you, and most of all, Mike. I feel like I woke up one day from a dream where God said, “Victoria it’s time for you to know me better, those in life like me, and for whom you’ve been searching for since birth.” Along came Mike and your family. I would like to consider myself a loving, caring, and giving person, however, you all tend to bring out so much more of that in me. I shine more. I am looking forward to loving Mike, your family, and giving as much as my self to you all as I possibly can for years to come. I thank you all so much for all you have done to contribute to our very blessed and memorable wedding day. There are not enough, much less adequate, words in the human language to express my love and gratitude to you all. With love always and in all ways (stole that from my husband
