lucas family, a morning at the market, sunday morning sessions | modern kids photographer, san francisco

Ok so maybe this is actually a Saturday morning in September but you get the idea. Last month I had the pleasure of spending a really lovely morning with the Lucas Family. You might remember that I photographed their wedding along the Russian River this summer. Dad, Alina, and I started bright an early, 7 am to be exact. We made our way to the Alemany Farmer’s Market in San Francisco. If you love food and live in SF you’ve been here. Alice Waters has been known to shop here. It’s an incredibly diverse market where you can buy fresh seafood, delicious breads and pastries, rare mushrooms, asian vegetables I have no idea how to cook, all kinds of seasonal fruits and vegetables, and even live chickens. Yep, live chickens.

if life gives you lemons | sunday morning sessions, strober family | modern kids photographer san francisco bay area, los altos hills

If life gives you lemons…make lemonade! And that’s exactly what we did during my most recent Sunday Morning session. We also played guitar, skateboarded, picked carrots from the garden, and fought like pirates. I can’t believe I get paid to do this.
