Sometimes I have to pinch myself living in a place like San Francisco. We have such amazing access to a diverse array of locations within a few hours of the city. I have shot all over San Francisco from our beaches to chinatown to the greenery in Golden Gate Park. However, just outside of San Francisco you can find anything from dirt roads, treacherous cliffs, black sand beaches, quaint farms, dusty old towns, kitschy motels, and much more. Yesterday, I went on a quick scouting mission to Sonoma and found a few non-descript locations for my shoot on Sunday.

First, a very big thank you to everyone who came out to Crissy Field on Saturday for our picnic! We had such a perfect day for a party. I can’t think of a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than giving back a little to all of my wonderful clients from the past year+. A few years ago when I was in the throws of wedding planning (so glad I don’t have to do that again), my husband and I were thinking of a fun way to design our save the dates.
