It’s been a bit crazy over here. I’m sincerely sorry if you’re waiting to hear back from me via email, phone, or smoke signal. It’s been a bit of a whirlwindwith portrait and commercial kids shoots nearly every day and very little down time to catch up on email. Please forgive my delay. I’ll be attempting to catch up today and throughout the weekend. by Sarah 4 comments So looking forward to it, Artur. I really appreciate the opportunity. Thank you so much, Kelsey! I’ve seen stomping ground make the blog rounds. What a great concept! swimming in great images! nice work. The next Camerapixo issue about Kids and Family Photography is coming early October. We will publish your amazing work there… All the best Sarah. ![]() Wow. It’s been a much busier season than I would have ever expected. I’m so grateful for all of the business this year and most importantly getting to spend time with so many amazing kids and famillies. This week I’m shooting in Chicago and St. Louis and then back to San Francisco for the a bunch more shoots before the end of the holiday season. Please stay tuned here for more info on holiday ordering, some unique gift certificates, and more! ![]() This weekend I was reminded how much I like simple, straight portraits. No fancy angles, clever props or juxtapositions, just pure, simple, straight portraits. I should say it helps to have a subject who is incredibly natural in front of the camera. Allison and her husband Keith were just that. I rarely had to ask them to do anything and shooting in the comfort of their gorgeously lit home made it even easier. by Sarah 2 comments thanks so much Carrie. i think this is the case where the subject does most of the work. she was really perfect. thanks again! I agree. So simple and pure. Just beautiful, your pictures and the mom-to-be. |
