Wow. It’s been a much busier season than I would have ever expected. I’m so grateful for all of the business this year and most importantly getting to spend time with so many amazing kids and famillies. This week I’m shooting in Chicago and St. Louis and then back to San Francisco for the a bunch more shoots before the end of the holiday season. This weekend I was reminded how much I like simple, straight portraits. No fancy angles, clever props or juxtapositions, just pure, simple, straight portraits. I should say it helps to have a subject who is incredibly natural in front of the camera. Allison and her husband Keith were just that. I rarely had to ask them to do anything and shooting in the comfort of their gorgeously lit home made it even easier.
I agree. So simple and pure. Just beautiful, your pictures and the mom-to-be.

We love to travel and we’re excited to be in Chicago and St. Louis this fall. Give grandma a special gift this year! All sessions will have image galleries delivered in time to order holiday cards, prints, canvases and more.

ummm…..how is it that I had no idea you had such a lovely site with totally awesome jewelry?! you need to spam your friends more often! can’t wait to see you FOR SURE this time! 
There are literally hundreds of reasons why I love my job. And one of the biggest reasons is that I get to meet so many wonderful families. Whether they are about to have their first child, welcoming their 2nd child, or just celebrating their family by having me document them on a typical Sunday morning, I am always so happy to be a part of it all.
