Ahhh! Lisa Wong Jackson! Of COURSE you were her photographer. It makes perfect sense–two of my most admired-from-afar SF lovelies.  Wow. It’s been a bit crazy over here. I’m sincerely sorry if you’re waiting to hear back from me via email, phone, or smoke signal. It’s been a bit of a whirlwindwith portrait and commercial kids shoots nearly every day and very little down time to catch up on email. Please forgive my delay. The next Camerapixo issue about Kids and Family Photography is coming early October. We will publish your amazing work there… All the best Sarah.  I hope you had a lovely holiday weekend wherever you may be. I’m prepping today for a commercial shoot with another excellent kids company. In the meantime enjoy a recent portrait session in Chicago, IL with baby Ned. This little guy was such a great subject. Thanks Anna and Silvana. This family was especially sweet – well I feel incredibly lucky to photograph so many sweet families – anyways, you can’t see much of their home here but I’ll share soon. Oh Sarah, these are just gorgeous! I especially love the moment with Mama grinning at the camera–her smile describes such joy and pride. And Dad’s specs are great, too! What a beautiful house, indeed. I am so sorry to have missed you when you were here. I will need to remedy this! Best to you this week!  Hello there. I’ve been on the road for a little over a week (apologies if you’re waiting to hear from me). I’ve had a little family time mixed with a few really special shoots. One in particular was baby Whistler in Chicago. Whistler’s parents are dear friends of mine (and the husband) and we have been so happy to welcome him to the world. Thanks, Edyta! The luggage was already in Lezlie’s living room. They’ve had those great suitcases for years. I love finding existing props rather than sourcing them for family shoots in particular.
