How lucky am I to have photographed these two smiling faces for a second time? Thanks, Lukas & Ella!

Hello there. I’ve been on the road for a little over a week (apologies if you’re waiting to hear from me). I’ve had a little family time mixed with a few really special shoots. One in particular was baby Whistler in Chicago. Whistler’s parents are dear friends of mine (and the husband) and we have been so happy to welcome him to the world. I can’t wait to share more!

So adorable, no surprises!
love at first sight with that luggage photo!!!
Thanks, Edyta! The luggage was already in Lezlie’s living room. They’ve had those great suitcases for years. I love finding existing props rather than sourcing them for family shoots in particular.
Thanks, Kristen! It’s not hard to photograph that family! Great to see you in Chicago!
Sarah your endless energy, boundless creativity and fantastic artistry never cease to amaze us. You went above and beyond to capture the sweetest pictures of Whistler. His worn out parents can not thank you enough!
I found you in a brazilian blog (I’m brazilian)… so cool work! congratulations, a lot of inspiration. I would like to photograph children, I’m just starting to learn how. Nice to meet you! (sorry about my English, a little bit horrible):)
Karla thanks so much for the comment! I’m glad you found me! It’s been so busy over here I wish I could share more on the blog. Hopefully, my time will start to free up a bit. Please stay in touch and thanks again!! S.

I just walked into the studio from a lovely shoot in Russian Hill with a seven month old named, Wesley. He had one of the most unique nurseries I’ve ever seen; full of vintage toys and books plus a lovely Peter Pan wall. He was adorable and such a good model for me. I couldn’t help but to share two images of Wesley and his Mum. Don’t worry I have plenty with Dad and Wesley’s smiling face.
