james - as much as I love these, there is something iconic and comforting about the pencil and door jamb. It’s kinda nice to realize the door jamb isn’t going anywhere soon.

Sarah - Thanks for the comment, Tais. I see so many great kids products but I always wonder which ones get used. I love your idea that the heirloom one could be extended through a few generations. I love the simplicity of that one. Thanks for the comment!

Tais - We have the Heirloom growth chart. I thought it would be a really special thing to save for my son. Not only can we use it for him, but hopefully one day he can add extra pins for his kids too. We also mark the wall in his bedroom at grandma & grandpa’s house – because there’s nothing quite like walking into your old room and seeing that. best, Tais

Scuba Art Collective // inspiration

Last Summer Joe and I were walking through Hayes Valley, one of our favorite SF neighborhoods. We encountered a woman sitting at a little desk, selling her artwork. I bought a few tiny original drawings from her. She told me she collaborates on every piece through the name Scuba Art Collective. I just loved those tiny drawings and thought about their work several times over the last few months but had forgotten their name.
