This morning I woke up to a bunch of emails from my friends and clients letting me know that I was listed as one of San Francisco’s Top 5 Baby Photographers by the Golden Gate Mothers Group. I was a little shocked to be honest and altogether really happy to be mentioned with four other excellent photographers (see them below). Thank you very much to GGMG for mentioning me and especially to all of my clients who must have posted reviews of my work. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you spreading the word on my behalf!

Here’s what they wrote:

There has been some chatter on the forums about photographers, especially since the holidays are fast approaching and families are itching to get good photographs to send around to extended family and friends. Since we have this new blog, and as one of the GGMG Newsletter photographers, I thought I’d compile a list of the top 5 photographers here in the Bay Area as recommended by our members. It might make your search for a great baby photographer a bit easier.

1. Hayley Durak – Hayley always comes up with natural, fun photographs of kids of all ages. And, she’s a GGMG newsletter photographer, too!

2. Kate Nicholson – (that’s me) The other newsletter photographer. My photographs capture the unique personality inside your little one in a session that is relaxed and fun. I also offer discounts for GGMG moms.

3. Bug and Bean Photography – Nancy just won the Nickelodeon award for best family photographer in the Bay Area. I think Nancy offers a GGMG discount as well.

4. Nancy Alcott – Nancy has good eye for graphics and works extremely well with simple props to preserve the surprises of youth.

5. Sarah Wert – Sarah captures the unexpected moments that you’ll want to remember for a lifetime.
