1 cold + 2 kids = a little bit o’ grumpiness | Hazel & Felix Sneak Peek | Modern Kids Photographer Oakland

Here’s a quick sneak peek of Hazel + Felix’s session yesterday in Oakland. Unfortunately Hazel had a bit of a cold and was not her normal cheery self. We weren’t able to reschedule because the whole family is packing up and moving to New York next week (Ahh!!), so we made the best of it. Despite the cold and tiny bit o’ grumpiness we got a few gems from the day. Enjoy a sneak peek, more to come soon.

For the photogs out there, I was amazed by the light in the first image. All I did was auto levels, no smoothing, dodging/burning, nothing, no joke. When Hazel put her little head in that sculpture the dark concrete walls created some lovely modeled light. And her skin is just naturally that gorgeous. How cute are these kids? Seriously, cute overload.
